Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains how Türkiye Relocation("we", "us") handles personal data when you use turkiyerelocation.com. It is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice.

Information we collect

• Calculator inputs: calculations run entirely in your browser. Inputs are not transmitted to our servers.
• Newsletter signups (currently disabled): the newsletter is not active at launch. When we activate it (Phase 2), we will receive your email address, the page you submitted from, and a timestamp — used only to send relocation updates, with one-click unsubscribe in every email. We will update this policy when the newsletter goes live.
• Analytics (Google Analytics 4): when you have given consent (see Cookies), GA4 records anonymised IP, page paths, device type, referrer and approximate location.
• Session analytics (Microsoft Clarity): when you have given consent, Clarity records anonymised page interactions and heatmap data. Form fields and other sensitive content are masked by default — Clarity does not record what you type into the email field.
• Bot mitigation (Cloudflare Turnstile): the newsletter form may use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish humans from bots. Turnstile processes a token without using tracking cookies.
• Advertising (planned, not currently active):we may activate Google AdSense in the future. When active and with consent, AdSense may use cookies to personalise ads. You can manage personalised ads through Google settings.
• Contact submissions: if you email us, we receive your message and email address. We use this only to reply.

How we use information

• To operate, maintain and improve the website.
• To monitor traffic and content performance in aggregate.
• To send newsletter updates only to addresses that have explicitly opted in.
• To respond to support, feedback or partnership inquiries.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Cookies and consent

We use Google Consent Mode v2. Until you explicitly accept cookies via our consent banner, analytics cookies are denied and Google Analytics + Microsoft Clarity record only consent-mode-permitted aggregate signals (no personal identifiers, no advertising signals). When you accept, the full analytics signals are unblocked. You can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies for this site.

Some functionality (such as local checklist progress and your consent decision itself) is stored only in your browser's local storage and is not sent to us.

Third-party services

When you visit our site, third parties (currently: Google for analytics, Microsoft for session analytics, Cloudflare for bot mitigation, and Google for any future ad serving) may set their own cookies and process data according to their own privacy policies. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@turkiyerelocation.com.
